It's a BOY!

My husband and I are expecting a little baby boy in August! We are super excited; he will be our first child.

I wanted to post a few projects I have been working on. First, I found this adorable scrapbook album at Hobby Lobby that I had to get for his scrapbook I'm creating. His nursery is a jungle theme, so this album is perfect.

Here are a few pages I've made so far to put in his album. I've got a lot of work ahead of me, but I thought the more I complete before he arrives the better.

These are a few cuts I made from the Create-a-Critter cartridge that I am sure will fit in his album at some point. I just love playing with that cartridge!

Lastly, I wanted to show everyone the gorgeous mirror/frame my amazingly artistic uncle made for our nursery. He surprised us with it yesterday at a family BBQ. I love it and it matches perfectly! Thanks Uncle Doug!

More Cards!

Here are two cards I made today! The first one is another birthday card for a family member. She loves horses, so I had to use the adorable horse from the Create-a-Critter cartridge. Super Cute!!

The second card is another Father's Day card. This one is for my father-in-law who is an avid gardener. I mixed and matched a lot of cuts from both Paper Doll cartridges. I thought it turned out cute. What do you think?

MPS: Father's Day Challenge

Here is my entry for the My Pink Stamper Father's Day Challenge! My dad is an avid golfer, so of course I had to make him a card with the little golfer from the Everyday Paper Dolls cartridge. I also used the new My Pink Stamper Family and Friends stamps. Gotta love that Pink Stamper!!! I hope you enjoy!

Hoppy Birthday Card!

Now that school is out for the summer, I am finding that I am having a lot more time to scrap and card-make! Here is another card I made for a family member's birthday. I can't get enough of the Create-a-Critter cartridge and I love the new My Pink Stamper Punny-licious stamps. They go great with this cartridge. I hope you enjoy!

Two Family Event Cards!

Here are two cards that I have made recently for a couple of upcoming family events. The first cards is for my older sister's birthday. She loves cats, so of course I had to use one of the cute cats from the fabulous Create-a-Critter cartridge. The second card is for my cousin who will be getting married in July. I cut the man and wife from the Sweethearts cartridge. I hope you enjoy!

MPS: NSD Challenge #12 - "Critter-licious"

Here is the 12th and final challenge entry for the My Pink Stamper NSD Challenges! The last challenge was to create a project using a critter. I used the fabulous skunk from the Create A Critter cartridge. I hope you enjoy this stinkin' cute card!!!

MPS: NSD Challenge #11 - "Colors of the Rainbow"

Here is the 11th challenge! Whew! Using all the colors of the rainbow:

MPS: NSD Challenge #10 - "May Day"

Here is entry #10. Wow, I can't believe I have kept up with the challenges so well today. That has been my NSD goal.... to keep up! Happy Spring and Happy May Day!

The little birdies are "Twitterpated"! :)

MPS: NSD Challenge #9 - "Take Shape"

Here is my entry for MPS Challenge #9. The challenge was to make a shape project. I pulled my Gypsy out for this one and used the Create A Critter cartridge for the snail. I LOVE this cartridge!!!! I thought the snail was adorable!

MPS: NSD Challenge #8 - "Love My Color"

Here is my entry for challenge #8. The goal was to create something using a monochromatic style and add a flower. I chose light pink!

MPS: NSD Challenge #7 - "Hey Dad!"

I actually made this card for my Dad-in-Law! I hope that counts. His birthday was in April, so I made him a belated card. My husband and him have a running joke, so they always get each other cards and gifts with monkeys on them. I won't go into the story that started this tradition. :) I let my husband pick out which monkey he liked best out of all my cartridges. He picked the monkey head from the Animal Kingdom cart. Well, here it is.

MPS: NSD Challenge #6 - "Kids Craft, Too"

Although I am expecting my first child in August.... a little boy, I thought I would make a card for my little sister. She is still a kid in my eyes. She is star athlete at her high school, so I used the Everyday Paper Dolls cart to make a mini-her. I dressed her in her basketball gear and used a My Pink Stamper stamp that says "Rock Star". She is my star!

MPS: NSD Challenge #5 - "Teacher Appreciation Days"

Here is my entry for Challenge #5. Since I am a teacher, I made this card for one of my colleages. I used the Locker Talk cartridge. I love those crayons!!!

MPS: NSD Challenge #4 - "I Like You the Least"

Okay, in this challenge we had to create a craft using a our least favorite or least used cartridge. I bought From My Kitchen a few months ago (around the same time as the Heritage cartridge), but I never got around to using either of them. Since I used the Hertiage cart earlier, I thought I would use From My Kitchen for this challenge. I hope you enjoy!

MPS:NSD Challenge #3 - "Thinking Outside the Box"

Here is my next entry for the My Pink Stamper NSD Challenges. This challenge said to "think outside the box" and do something you usually wouldn't do. I have never put a photograph on the front of a card, so I thought I would try it out. Mine and my husbands second wedding anniversary is next month, so I thought I would use a picture from our wedding to make a card for him. What do you think?

MPS:NSD Challenge #2 - "Getting Scrappy"

Alright, for this challenge we were suppose to make a project incorporating our paper scraps. Boy, do I have a bunch of scraps. Here is what I came up with. This is also the first time I have used the Cricut Heritage cartridge since I bought it a couple months ago. What do you think?

MPS:NSD Challenge #1 - "Mother Dear, I Love You So"

Happy National Scrapbook Day Everyone!
Okay, so I am going to try to participate in as many My Pink Stamper Challenges today! We will see how I do... Here is my entry for her first challenge. I hope you enjoy!
